Well that was the last weekend in the normal league calendar, but the leagues are not over yet due to all the postponements from earlier in the year.

On the tables below:

Teams in GREEN - promoted

Teams in YELLOW - relegated

Teams in ITALICS – promotion or relegation position but could still change

Underlined - indicates how many teams are relegated or promoted from each league

As you can see not all the leagues are sorted out yet, the ladies have 3 more games, 1st’s 1, and the 4th’s 1. Regardless of result the 4th’s will definately move on up to South West 1 from next year – although anything other than Dart losing their last game with Truro winning will see them finish as runners up. The 1st’s dreams of Prem 1 are gone, with Whitchurch 1st’s now 4pts clear of Cardiff in the EHL WEST taking away any chance of a 4th placed promotion slot. The ladies can still climb out of T1 but it depends on them beating Plym Uni on Saturday and that Dart lose 1 or draw 2 of their last games.

Both the 2nds and 3rds have finished and should be fairly happy with their places, a bit more consistancy from either next year will see them staying in contention longer.

I may be off line for a while next week, due to moving house, but I’ll keep you updated on the remaining games and how the promotion/relegation battles turn out.
